Screaming from your soul.You’ll never understand what I feel, or why I feel it. For I, myself, have no understanding. Old songs from my past make my eyes swell with tears, songs of praise from a religion that I no longer believe, a religion I cease to think I ever believed. But they hold ties, strings attached deep within my heart, that when my ears hear those horribly, beautiful notes make tears rush to the brims of my sight and threaten to spill over. I sit here fighting such tears, and wanting with great abandon to let the tears rush wet paths down my cheeks and onto my chest. I want to bow my head in silence, and remembrance for what it is in my past that IScreaming from your soul.
